Laugh Out Loud
Or, if you can’t laugh out loud, laugh inside. Here’s where we put the things that make us laugh. So come on in and lap it up!
Laughter is the most powerful tool we’ve hit on yet–to deal with frustration, adversity, and scary poodles (of which there are a few). Laughing changes your physiology, and we’re not making this up!
Laughter relaxes the body and reduces problems associated with high blood pressure, strokes, arthritis, and ulcers. A study done at the University of Maryland Medical Center suggests that a good sense of humor and the ability to laugh at stressful situations helps mitigate the damaging physical effects of distressing emotions.
